Workshop for Omsk Students

Insist Avtomatika is establishing partner relationships with leading Siberian universities.

October 30, as part of the federal initiative “Russian Young Professionals – 2017 (WorldSkills Russia), representatives of Insist Avtomatika conducted a workshop on the premises of Omsk Technical University. The workshop with the topic “Synergy of Science, Manufacturing and Education – Answering the Challenge of the New Industrial Revolution” was intended for future young professionals in industrial automation. Mikhail Konchits, director for business development, and Sergey Faruntsev, consultant of the Business Development directorate of Insist Avtomatika delivered their reports on the following topics:

  • 4th industrial revolution – tomorrow’s reality. Main features of Industry 4.0. Challenges for manufacturing and education
  • Current and future tasks of Insist Avtomatika in the field of smart automation systems, raising efficiency of oil production with the help of state-of-the-art control technologies
  • Urgency of personnel hiring and retention issue. Lines of possible collaboration between Omsk Technical University and Insist Avtomatika.

Future steps and joint actions were defined aimed at improving the training system for qualified specialists and addressing HR issues.
